They have sold software even to India

Mr. Gokhan Daggez who is a founding partner of PiriReis Bilisim Teknolojileri of METU Technopolis states that they are targeting to prove that the geographical information systems which have been imported to the date is possible to be produced and imported to world from Turkey quoting “We try to prove that information technologies field can produce software and export their products to world. We started to develop the CitySurf software in 2006 realizing international competition and requirements of the organizations in Turkey.”

Also Daggez stated that their first international sales was to Saudi Arabia, Ministry of Education in 2007 then to Trinidad Tobago’s Special anti-Crime Unit in 2008, then to Municipality of Leicester of UK and finally to Survey of India, New Delhi, India.

Stating that they are yet to accomplish their goals, Daggez says that in 2001 they are targeting to complete the sales with organizations which they are running the negotiations such as Municipality of London, Syrian Military Survey, Sydney Police Forces of Australia and Ground Forces of Jordan. Daggez stated that “we have sold our software to 4 different countries so far. We have accomplished these sales by working together with our representatives in each of those countries. Our goal for 2011 is to increase the number of sales as well as extending our market to at least 7 different countries by increasing the number of our sales and business development team to 50 people which we now have 17 people”. Daggez reported their growth in 2010 is 70% based on net sales also in 3 year span their growth is 92% again based on the net sales.

CitySurf Delhi State Spatial Data Infrastructure

Daggez reports “DSSDI is the first spatial data infrastructure of the world on state level, project covers the 1500km2 area of Delhi State Borders including 3d models of millions of buildings along with infrastructure and super structure and all is served to public over a system whose backbone is a Turkish software.”

Daggez says, Government of Delhi is already more effective on project panning, services, application of law and order, using public resources and controlling the disaster management systems.

They are going to represent Turkey

Daggez says they are going to attend Defense Geospatial Intelligence (DGI 2011) in London on 24-27 January and represent Turkey. Daggez reports “ DGI is the biggest spatial intelligence organization of Europe, high level delegates of intelligence, military, government and security fields will join this organization for the organization is an attraction for the professionals from all over the world who uses geographical functionalities in their business.
